BAME Recruitment are delighted to work with the Museum of London who are recruiting a new role of Head of Campaign Operations.
The Museum is delivering one of the largest and most exciting cultural projects of our generation: and entirely new museum for London opening in 2025 in Smithfield.
This important role will lead the operations team at the heart of the £70m fundraising campaign; a team that underpins the fundraising effort by delivering data, reports, research, events, prospect plans, media campaigns and compelling sales material. You will work closely with the Director of Development and other senior leaders to shape the evolving fundraising strategy and to look to the opportunities of the future.
This is an outstanding opportunity to get involved in a major landmark project; the new museum is taking shape and much work is already underway. The project has significant backing from the Mayor of London and the City of London and £30m has already been raised from other sources. There is an opportunity to make your mark in an organisation that champions learning, exploration and adventure.
The successful candidate will possess a commitment to outstanding leadership, and must have demonstrable track record of leading and implementing successful operations programmes, setting and meeting strategic goals, an inspiring a committed team. You will have excellent communication skills in order to motivate your team, delegate appropriately and present key information and strategic thinking to other senior colleagues and stakeholders. The social impact of the project will be a priority and the Head of Campaign Operations will support these objectives.
