Mind is a mental health charity that exists to ensure no one has to face a mental health problem alone. They provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Mind campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
Mind’s 2021-24 strategy sets the direction for their work for the long-term, and specific ambitions for the next three years. Minds strategic development priority areas are:
• Becoming a truly anti-racist organisation
• Supporting young people – with a focus on trauma
• Fighting for the mental health of people in poverty

Purpose and scope for the Young People’s Development Manager – Communities Programmes Team
This important role will have responsibility for the co-production and development of Mind’s community-based programmes with young people. The right candidate will identify meaningful opportunities for young people to inform, develop and review community-based programmes.
As well as leading in the co-production of new programmes of work, services and interventions to support the mental health & wellbeing of young people across England and Wales, you will be working with the Young People’s Delivery team to include young people in programme review cycles to gain feedback and insights on programme delivery and impact.
We would like to hear from you if you have:
Experience of leading a team who engages with young people aged 11-25 years old, within minoritised communities, collaboratively working together, to design and deliver support services, facilitating young people to lead in decision making.
